I've updated the Panzer Drive Storage Gauge XWidget to make it less heavy on cpu usage and to allow the pointer animation effects to be switched off. You can download the latest version above.
I have also created a functionally equivalent duplicate storage widget for the Yahoo widget engine. The only advantage the YWE version provides is that it is a little more stable, uses less CPU when animating allowing you to have all the gauges running simultaneously with no system impact.
Best of all it allows you to compare the two engines and how things are done. The YWE allows uses of javascript API whereas the Xwidget version used cores available solely through the IDE.
Resizing is done through the use of CTRL+mousewheel up or down.
