XWidgetSoft Forum

There are many nice widgets on XWidget Chinese forum bbs.ku-yu.com, so I write this turorial to show you how to register and download widget on XWidget Chinese forum.

Register

• Visit bbs.ku-yu.com
• Click “注册” on the right-top

• Click “同意”

• Fill the page

  • The email address is important!
  • An confirm email will be sent to this email address after submitting.
  • Only after clicking the confirm link in the email, your account will be available.
  • If you can’t find the confirm email, please check whether it has been intercepted.
• Some error information you might meet.
  
  • The confirm password is wrong

Login

• input username and password, then click"登录"

Activate account

• login bbs.ku-yu.com
• visit this page http://bbs.ku-yu.com/home.php?mod=space ... p=password
• • input password
  • check email address
  • click "重新接收验证邮件"

• login your email and find the confirm email "[酷鱼桌面美化社区] Email 地址验证 " from "酷鱼桌面美化社区(bbs@ku-yu.com)" several minutes later.
• visit the link to activate your account

Check your account state

• visit this page again http://bbs.ku-yu.com/home.php?mod=space ... p=password
• if you see these word "当前邮箱已经验证激活" , congratulations! your account had been activated successfuly.

Can't reveive the confirm email after doing all steps above
Two solutions to solve this problem

• Your email has E-mail filtering function. Please change your filtering setting to receive the confirm email from bbs@ku-yu.com.
• Use gmail to register a new account.

Download widgets

THIS IS THE TUTORIAL FOR POST YOUR WIDGET IN THE CHINESE FORUM:


1) All the widget must be posted in "皮肤提交和发布 (Skin Release)" section. Then the Mods there will check it and it will be moved in "资源库 (Skin Gallery)"

2) On this page:
http://bbs.ku-yu.com/forum.php?mod=forumdisplay&fid=37
click on the button:



3) Then select the 2nd option on the left and add the title/name of the widget:



4) Now you need to upload image and file (.xwp)
IMAGE:
Press the buttons with this order:




and click on the image's link that is created inside this window.

FILE:
Same opearation for upload the .xwp file. (max file 16Mb)
The Mods want clean files not zip or rar.

The image and the file/s will added in post the position where you click on.

Add your text (I use Google translator for the chinese). We know that sometimes the translation is bad but the people there don't understand the english language, so your text must be in chinese!

At the end press the dark button on the bottom to create the topic:


If you want to edit a topic press the "pencil" button on the end of the post..

NOTE: If you have more than one file the upload function supports multi-selection.
