I saw a similar layout on another forum (not related to XWidget) and liked the look. I was told it looked like one of the widgets from Today Weather, but I don't have that app installed. Also, I don't have the XWidget PC app, so I just took the existing Mint widget and modified it. Below the current temperature are the high / low / real feel temperatures, and below the location is the refresh time. The hotspot over the weather image will show the weather details, the one over the current temp will refresh the weather, and the one over the city and refresh time will invoke a shortcut (which I use to access the native AccuWeather app). Just playing around, but I like the layout.

Thanks for sharing.
I think that you have the potential to create your own widgets. Install the pc version and try to create some. You will enjoy it after you discover how easy is to create it! ;)

Thanks. The laptop I use is my employer's, and I don't have admin rights to load third party software. I'll stick with my device for now. I'm not really creative enough to design a widget from scratch, though if I see something I like may try to replicate it.

You can download the portable version, so no need to install everything on that machine. I used to do it that way when I had problems with my home internet connection and used the university library's pc.
The designer is easy to use and believe me worth the try. :)

I updated this a bit: Added an icon for real feel and also added icon and text for precipitation probability. Everything else is the same. Please stay healthy and safe.
