You can use the Hotspot component to assign a certain part of the widget to open a particular application (installed or stock of your phone)
Here is an example where we will assign 3 different apps:
TO CREATE/EDIT A WIDGET FOR ANDROID YOU NEED TO PRESS THE "Android Mode" BUTTON OF THE DESIGNER FIRST.1. Add
ShortCutCore/s. (how many apps will be assigned and use at the same time touching on a certain part/s of the widget)
In this case we added x3, because we want to assign the Android Clock/Alarm when we will touch on the Clock, a weather application using the weather icon, and a battery info application using the battery icon.
IN THIS CASE THE HOTSPOT IS "BLIND" SO WE DON'T HAVE/NEED TO IMPORT ANY IMAGE FOR THE SHORTCUT'S ICON.
2. Add the
Hotspot/s and move them where we will touch to open the app.
Assign to each Hotspot the corrisponding
Binding Core /
ShortcutCore and use the
!Open tag.
Hotspot1:
shortcutcore1 -
!OpenHotspot2:
shortcutcore2 -
!OpenHotspot3:
shortcutcore3 -
!Open
3. Create the Right click options so you can Edit/Change the shortcuts/apps after the first assignment.
(the number is according the number of the shortcuts you created)
Add a MenuItem, edit its
Caption writing for example
Change Shortcut 1 and assign the corrisponding
Binding Core and
!ShowSetting as tag for the
OnClick Event.
Repeat the same for the rest MenuItems/right click options.
Use this procedure to install the widget to your phone:viewtopic.php?f=23&t=3776Exit the Designer and Save.
TESTING ON PHONEAfter follow the above procedure, touch on the area of the widget where you have added the Hotspot and the screen with all the installed/stock apps of your phone will open. Choose the app you want to apply and press
Done.
